Week #7 (Week #3 of 2nd six weeks): Is it Warming or Cooling? Which is it?

Hey Scholars,

This week's topic is global climate change. The current scientific view point is that our climate is slowly warming. Prior to this current belief, there were scholars that thought we were headed for an ice age. Even movies such as The Day After Tomorrow depict this. This week we will reinforce Science's Current Perspective but for this week's post I want you to find alternate opinions on this subject. Post the link where you found your info.

  2. This is such a contraversial subject that a person can have a hard time distinguishing fact from theory. I'm choosing to remain neutral to the topic but here are others opinions.

This site actually says a little bit of both sides. On some parts of the earth it will drastically cool and on other parts it will drastically warm.

  6. This article talks about Bill Muehlenberg's opinion on global warming and how he doesn't think it's happening. He thinks it's really cooling instead.

  9. Global warming is a theory that goes against some religious opinions. This article frustrated me slightly, but it's about a group of evangelists that are criticizing a fellow evangelist because he is outspoken about global warming. They are against the theory and feel that by focusing on global warming, other 'moral issues' are being laid to the wayside.
