The Oil-Away pesticide suffocates the insects and their eggs instead of adding chemical solvents. It does not harm beneficial insect populations and is considered virtually nontoxic.

  3. This eco friendly pesticide is called Bugzilla. It is a minimal risk pesticide that is able to be used in households and you are even able to use this where food is being prepared! This takes care of any household pest that you do not want to have to see those pesky little critters! :) http://www.bugzillaissafe.com/

  4. I found information on a pesticide call Niban, produced by a company named Nisus based in Tennessee.
This product works unlike other pesticides because it’s ingredients do not involve any real poison. Niban actually works by altering an insect’s digestive process. After pests ingest Niban, they are unable to absorb the nutrients from your garden or table scraps, thus starving to death. There is no need to worry about your pets, kids or animals that surround your home because the main active ingredient in Niban is Boron which already plays a vital role in practically all ecosystems. The dissolved borates will become a part of the underlying levels of Boron “which is an essential micronutrient for plants and animals.”

  5. The eco-friendly pesticide I found is called Diatomaceous Earth. It is actually a mineral and not a synthetic chemical, making it all natural. Diatomaceous Earth is a mineral dust mined from quarries that kills insects when they come in contact with it. It provides a permanent barrier against Ants, Fleas, Ticks, Cockroaches, Earwigs, Slugs, Beetles, Flies, Silverfish, Bed Bugs and many other pests indoors and out. There are no toxins in it as well, which makes it perfect for household use!

  6. I thought this one was pretty cool! You can make your own eco friendly pesticide. You can use Neem Oil or Baking Soda Spray. This site tells you how!

On a side note my family has been using Diatomaceous Earth to help protect our dogs from fleas and to keep those pesky water-bugs and flies out during the season change. It's basicly a powder blend of fossilized remains from a type of algae. Its also edible and has some really good health advantages. However, I don't eat it!(http://www.ghorganics.com/DiatomaceousEarth.html)

Killer spices is made through plants. The flavoring of beverages is the main ingredient and since it has been used, several more tests were taken and it has been confirmed the pesticide could be a successful alternative to chemical pesticides.

  10. I found a series of natural pesticides using existing spices. Much as we would sprinkle salt on slugs to kill them, many insects also have natural enemies among the spice world evidently. The line is sponsored by EcoSmart but has not yet been released yet because they are still exploring the reaches of the spices in dealing with pests. Based on current findings they can already repel fleas or ticks from house pets without harming the pets, and have produced a more natural (and better smelling) mosquito repellant for humans, in addition to the fieldwork pesticides for plants.

EcoSMART's formulas are composed of the most effective combinations of organic plant oils. These formulas have been used for more than a decade in professional and agricultural markets because they have proven to be effective against insects and other pests. And EcoSMART products are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
